Battling the shadows of Cyber Criminality

Registrations are closed

On the occasion of Cyber Security Summit on March 14th at the Sandton Convention Centre, the French South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry invited 3 experts on Security, Safety, IT and Cyber Criminality to present the concepts of cybercrime.

With South Africa ranking 5th on the global cybercrime density list - the percentage of cyber crime victims among a specific number of internet users - cyber security leaders must unite to tackle the escalating challenges.

In addition to South Africa’s cybersecurity models which will be presented during the Cyber Security Summit, our experts will be looking at cybercrime, the benefits of legalizing an attack, and how to act in the right way to preserve any investigative evidence and ensure rapid business recovery.

 Our experts:

  • Benoit Magne - Warrant-Officer, Cybercrime Investigator, International Technical Expert and Regional Cybercrime Consultant at the French Embassy in South Africa.
  • Mamourou Doumbia - IT Correspondent for Southern, Central and East Africa at the French Embassy of South Africa.
