The French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to invite you to an SMME-focused workshop on “Navigating Compliance with Confidence”, designed to support small and growing businesses in understanding and managing their compliance and administrative obligations.
This practical and interactive session will address common challenges faced by SMMEs in South Africa, including SARS compliance, tax administration, and essential business requirements such as insurance and risk management. Particular emphasis will be placed on helping businesses understand the role of insurance in protecting their operations, assets, and long-term sustainability.
Participants will gain insight into:
- The different types of insurance relevant to SMMEs (e.g. public liability, professional indemnity, asset and business interruption cover)
- How to assess and manage business risks effectively
- Common gaps in coverage and how to avoid costly mistakes
- Practical considerations when selecting insurance providers and policies
- The importance of aligning insurance with compliance and governance requirements
Through expert-led discussions and real-life insights, participants will gain clear, actionable guidance to help them navigate regulatory processes with greater ease and confidence.
In collaboration with FSACCI members and partners, including industry experts from Olea and ReflectAll, the workshop will provide a platform for direct engagement, questions, and knowledge-sharing.
This session is ideal for entrepreneurs, business owners, and SMMEs seeking to strengthen their operational foundations, mitigate risk, and ensure long-term, sustainable growth.
The session will be hosted in person in Johannesburg and streamed online for members joining from Cape Town and other regions.
